FieldHUB Designed more for military type applications, the Printatech Systems FieldHUB has 8 shielded 10BaseT ports and 1 10Base2 (BNC) port. There is a 10BaseT 'Cross-over' switch on one of the ports to allow connection to another HUB without the need for a special cable. Also, the 10Base2 port has switchable internal 50 ohm termination.

To make this HUB more rugged than normal, the FieldHUB has the following attributes..
The case is manufactured from 1.2mm steel (powder coated)
The PCB is thicker than normal (2.4mm instead of 1.6mm) for extra rigidity.
A large number of internal components are Surface Mounted.
